Over the years we have developed into a well-established national company, having designed and established approximately 30 heat exchange products. Frigotherm is dedicated to manufacturing high quality products and a vast number of successful installations confirm customers’ confidence in our product range. Our commitment towards our clients does not end on delivery, but strives to be the beginning of a continuing professional relationship.

Frigotherm represents Funke Heat Exchangers Germany in South Africa, which permits us to supply any type of plate heat exchangers. Computerized selection, design and costing software enable us to respond very quickly to clients’ enquiries.

Plate Heat Exchangers
The plate heat exchanger group comprises a range of high quality, robust and reliable construction capable to service most industrial and mining applications. Our PHE and TPL series are ideally suited to exchange high heat duties between any media yet ensuring low maintenance, operation cost and compact design.

Air Blast Coolers
Part of this group is our full range of finned tube radiators enclosed in a robust housing with cooling air delivery. The air blast coolers are used in industrial and mining applications where cooling water is not desirable or available. Our FOT series offers a full spectrum of oil coolers offering a very high life span, low maintenance and operation cost. In addition to oil cooling our FOT series also allows cooling of other media such as water or air.

Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers
In difficult to handle applications our full range of shell & tube heat exchangers offer a suitable alternative heat exchanger. Our OCC series of shell and tubes are ideally suited to exchange high heat duties allowing extreme temperature differences between any media. In case our standard range will not suit, we can custom design and build to your individual needs and requirements. Applications range from marine cooling, steam condensation, gold elution, and combustion gas heat extraction to high-pressure air-cooling.

Electrical Heaters
In many processes such as drying or conveying the heating of hot air is required. Frigotherm offers custom built solutions for hot air requirements. In addition we also custom build oil and special solutions turnkey heating systems.
