Stateway Fully Withdrawable Motor Control Centre

In 1980 Stateway, encouraged by some customers, designed a robust safe, and fully withdrawable motor control centre totally suited to local conditions. This very successful design, fully tested by S.A.B.S., has been in service since 1981.

The motor control centre is self-supported, metal enclosed. Cable terminals and connections are rear accessible through hinged doors. Passivated yellow zinc gland plates are provided.

The plug-in design is unique as it comprises a shrouded plug and socket, segregated from the dropper busbar chamber.

This motor control centre is completely flexible allowing the mix of fixed pattern inserts with those that are fully withdrawable.

The interior space of the motor control centre is totally compartmented. Its main section, main bus, motor control unit compartments are cable ducts are each completely separated by steel partitions that will stop propagation of arcing, flame or soot from the in
