UNICEL ARCHITECTURAL CORP. was founded in Quebec in 1964.

It manufactures diversified aluminum and glass products such as skylights, curtain walls, and window systems to the architectural market.

Its core product, patented Vision Control, is a hermetically sealed glass unit with integral louvers. The louvers are made of extruded aluminum and are held at each end without cords or strings. Perfect alignment is obtained, all within an insulating glass unit. Various manual or motorized operators allow the louvers to pivot from open to closed positions.

Today, the major market for Vision Control is the United States. It is also experiencing growing success in Japan, Taiwan, and Finland, among others.
