Xmeco is an ISO 9001:2000 accredited company and can offer a certificate of conformance to CE specifications with all our equipment. Xmeco was founded in 1951 and has been in manufacturing, including castings and machining, for more than 50 years.

Xmeco designs, manufactures, assembles, installs and commissions a wide range of resistance welding equipment with particular focus on spot weldguns for automotive bodyshops.

Xmeco's products are sold locally and exported to many countries around the world. Support for exported equipment is provided by Xmeco distributors in the destination country.

In South Africa Xmeco also supplies, supports & services several other manufacturers complimentary spot welding or associated products.

With our own foundries (ferrous and non-ferrous) and machine shops (from small manual machines to large CNC machines), Xmeco also provides a large range of castings and general enginering to the South African industry.
