Double Ended Conveyor Idler Horizontal Boring Machine is a Special Purpose Machine for Simultaneous Boring Of Belt Conveyor Rollers.

The above SPM was developed by us before ten years and during this period we have supplied about nine machines to the following reputed customers.

We have supplied this machine to Indian Govt. Companies like South Eastern Coalfields Ltd.(Bilaspur), Private Companies New Era Bearing Industries,Nagpur.Kshitika Steel Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur etc.

USE OF THIS MACHINE

On the above machine,Conveyor Rollers from f 60 mm O.D. to 170 mm O.D. and 150 mm lemgth to 2000 mm length can be machined for bore and correct lengthin one set- up.Total quantity produced per hour shift is from 150 Rollers to 200 Rollers depending on their length and weight.

MACHINE CONSTRUCTION

The machine has its bed casted from closed grained Cast Iron and Flame Ground to accurate level which is about 14 feet in length and 2 1/2 feet in width.One this bed there are two workheads with independent motors at rear and revolving machining tools post on front which has independent controls.These workheads can be operated independently or simultaneously by common-lead screw for three different RPMs as required.

Between to workheads on Bed,two nos. Pipe Holding divices are provided which can be provided either with Manual Holding or Hydraulic Holding.A Coolant pump is provided for cooling effect while machining the pipe ends on both the sides.Limit Switches are provided for automatic cut off ‘feed' of machining once it is achieved as per our requirement or setting.Separate motor is provided for Lead Screw for Auto Feed and Auto Cut Off.
