Mimic’s Alutech extrusions are used to manufacture a full range of consoles, desks, and wall mount enclosures. The final product is suitable for office or industrial environments. “This quality product compares well with powder-coated metal or melamine laminated chipboard alternatives” says Edwin Wakefield, MD of Mimic Components. The items are assembled in an aluminium space frame with ‘captured” infill panels. The construction technique makes for a long life rigid structure. A wide choice of colour and finish or decorative melamine laminate is available.

“Our product choices should satisfy even the most discerning customers or architects” adds Edwin. This construction technique provides flexibility in design and a product that requires no additional finishing. In addition, 19inch rack extrusions can be fitted so that electronic equipment can be mounted or fitted in any convenient place. The computers and screens can be securely locked away and pull-out keyboard trays kept away until needed.

Mimic’s control room consoles are designed and manufactured to withstand the toughest environments while ensuring maximum operator effectiveness. If you are furnishing a 24/7 emergency response control room, air traffic control tower, mission critical operations center, a trading floor, or a small operations center, our manufacturing experience is at your disposal.
